Connect Wallet
If you’re using Coinbase Smart Wallet, connecting your wallet from any browser is straightforward and doesn’t require additional extensions or apps. Detailed instructions can be found below.
If you don’t use Coinbase Smart Wallet, you’ll need to rely on browser wallet extensions like Coinbase Wallet or MetaMask for web access or their corresponding mobile apps. These tools let you manage cryptocurrency and interact with decentralized applications directly through your browser. See detailed instructions below.
Coinbase Smart Wallet
Your Smart Wallet is securely backed up to iCloud or Google Cloud, making it easy to connect to any device—desktop or mobile—using the same iCloud or Google account.
- Visit the Coinbase Smart Wallet page
- Click ”Connect”.
- Select ”Coinbase Wallet”.
- Choose ”Smart Wallet (Passkey)”.
- Approve the connection request.
- That’s it! Your wallet is now ready for use.
Coinbase Wallet Extention
Step 1: Install the Coinbase Wallet Extension
- Download the extension:
- Visit the Chrome Web Store.
- Search for "Coinbase Wallet" or go directly to the Coinbase Wallet extension page.
- Click "Add to Chrome" and then "Add Extension" to install it.
Step 2: Connect Your Wallet
- Open the Coinbase Wallet extension:
- Once installed, click the Coinbase Wallet icon in your Chrome toolbar.
- Import your wallet:
- Select "I already have a wallet."
- Enter your 12-word recovery phrase.
- Set up a password.
MetaMask Wallet Extention
Step 1: Install the MetaMask Wallet Extension
- Download the extension:
- Visit the Chrome Web Store.
- Search for "MetaMask" or go directly to the MetaMask Wallet extension page.
- Click "Add to Chrome" and then "Add Extension" to install it.
Step 2: Connect Your Wallet
- MetaMask Wallet will open automatically after installation:
- Import your wallet:
- Select "Import an existing wallet."
- Enter or paste your 12-word recovery phrase.
- Set up a password.
